The Dark Side of Children’s Toys: How They Introduce Kids to the Occult

Written by Dana Emanuel

When we think of children’s toys, we often imagine bright colors, cuddly plushies, and fun games. But what if I told you that some toys might be introducing your kids to the dark and mysterious world of the occult?

Toys have always been a way for children to explore their imagination and creativity. However, there are some toys out there that can take them down a path they might not have intended.

One of the most well-known examples is the Ouija board toy. While it may seem harmless, it actually has a long history of being associated with the occult and dark magic. And yet, it’s marketed towards children.

Another toy that parents might not realize is introducing their kids to the occult by getting them “make believe” witchcraft toys such as the “Magic Workshop”. While it might seem like it is just for fun, this type of toy uses real witchcraft incantations and it teaches them to cast spells and other divination practices associated with the occult. It desensitizes children regarding these occult practices and normalizes it.

And then there’s the voodoo doll. This toy may seem like just another novelty item, but it actually has roots in voodoo and black magic practices.

So, what can parents do to protect their kids from these potentially harmful toys? The first step is to do your research before purchasing any toy. Look into its history and associations to make sure it aligns with your family’s values. You can search online by asking if the toy has roots in the occult.

Additionally, it’s important to have open and honest conversations with your kids about the toys they’re playing with and what they’re learning from them. This is especially important because although you can control the toys that come into your home, it’s not possible to control the toys your child may come in contact with at school, daycare, or at the homes’ of their friends. This keeps open communication with your child regarding any toys that they play with outside the home as well as in the home.

By being aware and proactive, we should also teach our children “why” these toys are wrong and harmful. We can do this also by teaching them what the Bible says. While they might not be old enough to understand everything in it, they should still be read the Bible so that they will learn it from and early age. We can read them Bible stories and then mention times in scripture where people strayed away from God, using occult practices and how it was harmful to them.

We can ensure that our kids are playing with toys that foster positive values and imagination, rather than introducing them to the dark side of the occult.

Let’s keep our children’s innocence intact and help them grow up in a safe environment where they can learn and play without being exposed to potentially harmful influences.

Seeking first the kingdom of God~
